'Tis the Season!
Hi! We hope that all of you are having a wonderful holiday season. Elena loves decorating the tree, and she is thankful that we have two cats so we get to hang decorations almost every day!
She gives the ornaments to Nathan, who asks, "Where should I hang them, Elena?" Elena points and says, "Up! Up! Up!"

It's great to be a big sister!
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the newest edition of our family. Our new baby boy, Tristan Grant Poulosky, was born on Aug 18, 2006 at 8:05 am, weighing 8 pounds and 8 ounces, and measuring 21 inches long. Baby and mom are doing great, and Elena thinks that Tristan is the best toy ever. When she sees him, she keeps saying "Baby!".. "Baby!"

Excursions!
Last month we visited Grandma and Grandpa Poulosky during Spring Break. Our cousins Connor and Carson were there, and we were able to hang out with all the horses and other animals.
We also visited Silver Dollar City, an amusment park in Branson Missouri. They have a giant play structure there where kids can use giant vaccuum hoses to suck up nerf balls, and the kids on the upper levels can feed them into air guns and shoot them back down.
Today Elena, Alex, Nathan and Daddy went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum and saw a giant tower of colored glass, went for a ride on the Magic School Bus, saw a play of Stuart Little, looked at dinosaur fossils and played in the science center. Nathan's friend Ellie also went with us, and it was a lot of fun.

Baby's room
Here we are in Elena's room (pink, of course). We are all wearing the t-shirts bearing the logo of the CCAI travel group that we were a part of. The scroll hanging on her wall was painted by a local artist in Nanchang, the provincial capital of her home province. The three block letters down the center are the characters of her Chinese name. The column on the right details her birthdate, and the column on the left gives information on the place and artist. Laura's mom made the beautiful quilt hanging on her crib.
